My Video Reflection.

This is my video reflection about my year and my time at Fendalton School.
This is my last year at fendalton and I am the last person in my family to leave Fendalton school.
I will miss all of my friends and I wil miss the school and all of the teachers.

Rubric. Evaluation.

Rubric.

Surface features: Great. I have know mastakes but I would of if I didn't do it on the computer. The title is good and tells you what the storys about.

Deeper features: Exceptional. I have one idea in each paragraph, it makes sence and lots of sectences.

Title and intro: Great. My hook is good and makes the audience want to read on and the intro tells you what the storys about.

Organization of writing: Great. The hook captures the audiences attention so the reader reads on. The argument is strog
could be better.

Strengths of argument: Great. I go off the topic a bit but it is all true.

Publication: Exceptional. The title stands out and It has paragraphs so it separates all of the ideas. It is easy to keep track of.

Gymnastics

This is the certificate I got from gym.
I did my floor and it was good and everyone was amazed with what I could do and I was proud of it. When we were doing gym in the groups was quite boring because I could do things and it was really easy stuff for me.

- Because I can talk more confertently in frount of different amounts of people.
I have got better at this because I used to getting very nevous and talk really quiet if I was talking in frount of the class and now I talk confertently and I am not that shy anymore only if I'm talking to the whole school but not to the class.

2. Understanding more.
-Because if I didn't understand somthing I wouldn't ask the teachers and just go off and not understand what we were doing.
Now I ask the teachers what we are doing if I don't understand cause I am not so ahy and now I can do my work with no questions and I can get it done fast and understand what In am doing.

Dream Maker:
1. Self-motivated
-Because In try my hardest to achive my goals I have set.
I have got better at self-motivation cause I no I am getting older and aciving my goals is getting more and more important as I grow up. Achiving my goals is helping my learn and will help me in the future.

2.Self responsibly.
-Because I work even if the teacher in not in the class and the teachers can trust me and so can my parents.
I have improved on this cause I didn't used to care as much but now since I'm going into intermidiate and I am going to get harder work to do and a new teacher I am trying my hardest so I can prove I am a hard working person that loves to have fun and a laugh.

Thinker:
1. Ideas.
-Because I come up with very creative, imaganitive and good ideas.
I love to thunk of interesting and exciting ideas and I like to have fun while im doing it.
I have emproved on making new ideas cause I'm not so shy and can speeck up.

2.Creator.
-Because i love to use my imagination and create lots of interesting things.
I love to have fun when I am using my imagination.


Team Player:
1.Respectful
- I am restpectful to my friends and to the teachers and I am restpectful to my books.

2.Sharing.
-Because i have been sharing alot more with others and taking turns and playing with different people and letting people go in front of me. I have made new freinds.

-Becauses I have been making new friends and I know most people in the school.
I used to just play with one person but now I play with anyone who wants to play with me.

-because when i used to come to school i didn't want to and i didn't feel safe but now i like school and i feel safe when i walk into the school and i am excited to see my friends and teachers.

Term 4 goals

My term 4 goals are...

School goals

. My goal is to: do more spelling and get new words for the next week.
I will achive this by: the end of this term.
How: By making a spelling list and looking for new words when I'm doing my non negotables and then do the other non negotables after.
Why: Because I need to do more spelling to get better and I don't get much time in the week to do spelling.

2. My goal is to: Read more in class and at home.
I will achive this by: the end of the term.
How: by making a time table and reading every night I can cause I take a while to read books and I want to move on to the next book.
Why: I like to read and need to read more.

3. My goal is to: Slope more in my writing and try to link and write neater.
I will achive this by: the end of tnhis term.
How:Putting a note on my books so it reminds me.
Why: Because I write quite messy and I need to slpoe, link and write neater.

Personal goal. Give things a go and try new things.
I will achive this by: the start of the comp season.
How: By beliving in my self and trusting the coach.
Why: Because I'm in level six now and I need to learn more skills and harder and more scary moves.

Reflection

Today I learnt that you don't need a big run up you just neeed to run your fastest and not so long and you need to use your arms and legs to jump high and go far.
Because of this learning I can now be a better long jumper.
Something I don't understand is why you don't neeed a long run up cause I think you do because it will make you go faster and jump further, well thats what I think.
The next step in my learning is to practice and get my run up sorted and so I don't need to measure everytime.

Speech Evaluation

I think my speech went very well and I wasn't as nervous as I have been before when I've shared my speech so I thought that was great.
I think I varyed my voice well and put alot of expresion into it.
It was around 2.40-2.50 So thar wasn't so bad but I still think I could of gone abit little slower, because when I practiced it at home it was 2.57 so I did go a little to fast.
Anyway I thought it was a good speech and I wrote it all by my self. ( Well baseclly.) She only helped me with the infomation I put it all in to the words and made it all make sence and put it on cue cards.
I didn't want to go into the speech finals so that toke some preser off me.
At school I nearly lost my speech so that was pretty scarry and I also hand wrote it so that didn't help at all, It made me more sad and annouyed.
So I thinks my very good and you can listen to it if you want just ask me.

Inquary Ideas

1.We should put sighs up everywhere.
2.On the sighs we should put some of the questions we made up to get people thinking and looking at the sighs.
3.On the sighs it could say how to look at the imovie "The Inconveniedt truth."
4.Show them how the temperature is rising like it showed us on The Inconveniedt truth.
5.Put some information from The Inconveniedt truth on the psters to try and convise them to not pollut the air.

Term 3 goals evaluation.

These were my goals. Personal and School.

Personal goal.
My goal is to not have tears at gym and try new things.
I will no when I have achieved this goal because I could get to nationals and will of got a whole lot more moves.
I also need to get over my fear of doing new things and just give them a go.

Evaluation: I think I half achived this goal because I had tears at the start of this term but I have stoped now and I have had no tears for about a month and I'm very proud of it.
I also got to nationals and I got some new moves and now I don't need a spot for flicks and fly aways.
I am just giving things a go to.
So really I did achive this goal but not fully nearly.

Second goal.
My goal is to get more non negotiables done and not just stick to one non negotiable the hole time.
How will I achieve this goal: I will do about half an hour on each non negotiable and start straight away. I will try not to waste time fluffing around.
I will no when I have achieved this goal because I would of got all of my non negotiables done.

Evaluation:I thinks I have achived this goal because I useally get most of my non negotables done and I'm not fluffing around so much.
I also don't just stick to one non negotable I move one after about half an hour.

My reflection 19.9.07

Today I learnt what septacemmia is.
Because of this learning I can now know what septacemmia is when someone talks about it or if someone I know has it I will know it is bad!!!
Something I don't understand is what causes septacemmia?
The next step in my learning is to always remember what septacemmia is.

Reflection 18/9/07

Today I learned that if a frog jumps in a pool of hot water they will jump straight out, and if they jump in to a cold pool of water that isn heating up slowly they will wait till they get rescued. This is what is happening to the planet earth.
Becausae of this learning I now understand what will happen to the earth if we keep causing Global Warming.
The next step in my learning is to stop creating global warming.

Reflection

Today I learned you should only use first class for only responsibly reason and not irresponsily reasons.

Because of this learning I can now use first class for only good reasons and not to send juck mail to everyone cause it waists power and over uses electicity when I don't need to.

The next step in my learning is to try and remember no to send juck mail when I could just tell them and not waist power and electicity.

SLC Reflection.

I think that my student led conference went well and my mum thought it was well organized and presented. She said that my oral presentation went well and I spoke loud and clear.
I think next time I need to practice more before I precented it because I only practiced once with Elise and it wasn't a very good practice.
Next time i will print my agenda off faster and think of what i'm going to put it in faster to. I wasn't very organized when everyone was organized. But then I got organized very quicly but still wasn't as oganized as I could of been but my mum still thought I was organized.

Term 1 goals

Didn't make any school goals.

Term 2 goals.

My goal is to write neater and slope and maybe link. I will know when I have achieved this by looking back in my book to the start and see if my writing has changed. I will achieve this by the end of the term.

Evaluation:
I think I have achieved this goal because I have got a lot neeter and sloped a little bit but I didn't really link at all.

Farm poem

Farm.

The farm is a memory of when we were young,
with lots of cow and sheep dung,
long grass and fresh air brings our family togerther and kids everywere.

There's a beautiful view of the beach,
Sometimes I wish I could put my hand out and reach.

The farm is like a huge green land,
You can walk down to the beach and get lots of sand.

The animals are big cute and always around,
Leaving presents all over the ground.

Every few years we go mushrooming,
Cooking it up with meat that is lean.

Every few years easter come's around,
Leaving easter eggs scattered all of the ground,
We have fun hunting for eggs,
Sometimes there are clues hanging by pegs.

Our farm seams very famous because of Mercedes Bend,
Where the path will lead us to were the farm may end.

First goal.
My goal is to read more at home and at school.
How will I achieve this: By getting a book from home or from the library and read on my free days and get straight into reading when its d.e.a.r time.
I will also read in bed for half an hour.
I no I will have achieved this goal because I should of finished atleast 2-3 books by the end of this term.

Reflection 19 July 2007

How do I treat people from different cultures?
Different then I would treat someone from New Zealand.
I now no that there just the same as us they have feelings just like us and think just like us and do the same things.

How are people from different cultures the same?
Because they think the same do the same things and are just like me and everyone else just cause they look different and may speak anouther language doesn't mean there completly different. They may look completly different and sound completly different but its whats on the inside that really matters.

How can we make new people feel welcome?


What might I have done that makes people feel different?

Term 1 goals

Term 1 goal.

Personal goal:
To try and get to natinals for gymnastics.
I will know tht I have achieved this because when we've finished the competion season they will annouce who goes to natinals.

Evaluation:
I didn't achieve this goal because I didn't get to natinals but I tried my best.

Term 2 goals.

1. My goal is to get to nationals for gymnastic.
I will know when I have achieved this by thinking what routine I had in my first competition and see how much I have improved and what harder moves I’ve put in.
I will achieve this by the end of the year when they announce who goes to nationals.

Evaluation:

How Far Do We Have To Go, My Hairs Already Gone?

Once upon a time, far, far away, there lived a beautiful young girl called Rapunzel.
She may sound like a lovely sweet, little girl that is perfect in everything, I thought she was too. Then I found out she was, until the wicked witch cut off her beautiful long blond hair. She was no longer a sweet calm little girl, she was furious, had a really bad tempure and that’s were the adventure began.

One dark misty day Rapunzel walked down the dirty track to where the big bad wolf lived. The wolf was shocked; he nearly jumped out his fur when the wolf first took one glance at Rapunzel.
Then he said, “What happened to you? You look horrible and your hair… Ok, I’m just not going there”.
“I know” Rapunzel whimpered. “It was that fat ugly wicked witch that filthy person she only thinks about her fat ugly self. It took me my hole 23 years to grow hair. I’m no longer the sweet lovely darling that everyone thinks I am, I’ve changed and no one can stop me now. Now wolf we need a plan, a smart plan to get rid of that fat witch.”
“Ah” The wolf said. “Do you have a plan?”
Rapunzel replied happily, “No I never have a plan, you should no that by now.” she slapped the wolf because she was annoyed with him.
“Oh Rapunzel you scared my food away I was starving and now I can’t eat anything because of you!”
“ Oh just shut up” Rapunzel said. Then she slapped him again even harder this time.
“ Owe”. The wolf said, “Stop doing that that’s the second time all ready”.

Just then Rapunzel had a great idea “ You said you were hungry right. Rapunzel said with a smile on her dial.
“Well dur until you scared my food away.
“ Pull yourself together foul, I have an idea.
“Oh” the wolf said. “ What is it?”

“Wolf I need to ask you a question for my plan to work.” Rapunzel said (as she thought wolf was a mirror.)
“ Ok ask away.”
“Wolf, wolf who is the richest of them all.
“ Why me of course.” Said the wolf a bit scared that Rapunzel will slap him again.
“ Wolf, wolf who REALLY is the richest of them all.”
“ The handsome prince.”
“ Were can I find this prince.” Rapunzel asked.
“You can find him in the hills of the song replied the wolf.”
Not your stupid song you…. you… oh never mind, this is a PG story
“OK you will find him in the richest, highest, most widest, most…um...I haven’t actually located the location yet, but I have got a picture for you of the house.”
“Pass it over wolffi I’m sick to death of your fun and games ITS TIME TO GET SERIOS” she said very wisely. He handed it over and that was the end of that chapter.



The next day the beautiful (well at least she thought) Rapunzel and the fat wolf (because he ate to much pie that night) travelled through the dirt and the mud, though a the prana pound to get to the handsome Prince Charming,

Hold on a sec we all remember prince charming form the Shrek movies don’t we,
He’s not an evil prince, well at least not in this story because this is a twist not a straight.

As soon as they got there they were surprise to see one of the loveliest place they had ever been to. It really makes you think twice about being evil.

“Hold on hold on” the wolf screamed (as he though he was a director) “Rapunzel why are we going to find the prince anyway?”
The answer to this is that prince charming loves evil girls and its all part of my diabolical plan.

Soon after they rang the doorbell and the prince happened to come to the door and royally let them in. Rapunzel thought she was in heaven when she first saw the prince Then the wolf said, “No wonder they call you prince charming” looking at his tights. Snap out of it wolf, Rapunzel whispered madly trying to keep a smile on her dial.
“So prince charming, where’s the canteen.”
Its down the hall but you can go well I stay here and show rapunzel to the bedroom, I mean that as you are going to stay the night, aren’t you?

The Prince went over to the wolf, Thinking that the wolf was rapunzel “you can take the left, the rights mine baby, He whispered. Then the wolf squalled, “excuse me” “were you talking to me.” No, no the prince quickly answered.
Then the wolf whispered in rapunzels ear, “Watch out rapunzels he’s a wild hunk.”

That night prince charming’s mum/the witch, came over for tea that night prince charming had forgotten to tell them that his mother was coming. As soon as the witch walk in the door rapunzel screamed, and prince charming ran in from the kitchen and rapunzel said, “ Do something, “We can’t let that fat best into your castle prince. Before prince charming could say anything Rapunzel yelled wolf suck her body in. Then the wolf said, “ Well this saves me the trouble of walking down to the canteen.” In one long big suck the princes’ mother was in the wolves belly. Then the prince said, “ What were you thinking Rapunzel.” I was looking out for you darling. How, How could you? That’s my mummy. So what, your telling me you think you have problems, You didn’t grow up in a stuffy old tower, or never seen your parents, your mother is a witch and that’s coming for the heart, she was my mother after she clamed to kill my first, but I know it’s a lie. I have a family somewhere out there and I will find them, but for now you need to respect me then rapunzel burst out in song, that’s r.e.s.p.e.c.t find out what it means to me r.e.s.p.e.c.t take out the e.c.t, its when you respect, just a little bit HEY just a little bit ooooohhhhhh yea.
“Oh shut up rapunzel your going to burst my ear drums with that horrible singing your doing.” “Well you filthy…” Then rapunzel stopped. Doesn’t matter anyway, I’m leaving and there’s nothing you can do about it! Good day sir. She said in a beaming voice. But rapunzel… I said good day. Then she slammed the door shut leaving the prince to his misery and the wolf with his tail stuck in the door. “Rapunzel” the wolf sang out. I think we’ve got a little bit of a huge problem here.
Come on wolf get a move on fatty. Then the prince dialled 111 and the police came over in a cloud of dust. As soon as rapunzel saw the police she ran and called out WOLF, I’ll be in my secret hide out. Then the police saw the wolf and pointed their guns at the wolf and pocked him for an answer. He told them everything but one little detail. Which is that rapunzel is the wolf’s best and only friend. Then they set off to search for rapunzel right away. They took the wolf and the prince with them. They took the wolf so he could tell them some more clues. They took the prince so he could rub it in her face when she gets arrested. So, ah wolf, can I call you that. “ NO” said the wolf “ Call me, um, j, j James. Ok j, j James said the police officer smiling and laughing. “Tell me where this rapunzel is.” “NOW” he boomed. “ NO never in a million years.” “ If you tell where she is I will give you a yummy chocolate chip sandwiches.” “Y, YUMMY” He said as the police officer waved the sandwiches in front of the wolf’s nose. “ Ok, ok I give in I will lead you to where Rapunzel is. Just before they left the head police officer said,
“ Ok fellers listen in I have a idea.” “When we get there the wolf will say come out Rapunzel the cost is clear. So then Rapunzel will come out and we will appear from behind and catch her and she will be hand cuffed and we will sent her to jail for her 1 day.” That is a very good diabolical plan lets go”, the wolf said thinking about the chocolate sandwiches.

Finally after 1 whole hour we arrived there and the wolf did what he had to do. He said, “ Rapunzel it’s me, the wolf, you can come out now, its safe.” So Rapunzel walked out and in a flash Rapunzel was hand cuffed and been put in the back of the police car. “ Great work guys. Especially you wolf, here’s your sandwiches, and you deserved it, well done.” “ Thank you.” The wolf said quietly trying not to make Rapunzel hear him.
“Was this your entire idea wolf?” Rapunzel said in a mad voice.
“Kind of, but they were tempting me with a yummy chocolate chip sandwich.”
“So our friendship means nothing more to you than a sandwich!”
“Not any sandwich MY LUNCH you’re not an animal, you wouldn’t understand. It’s so much harder when you have a stronger sent of smell.” The prince wouldn’t stop rubbing it in her face that she got caught. Then Rapunzel asked,
“ I’m just asking but why am I going to jail anyway?”
“ Don’t play dumb with me Rapunzel.” “ I’m not.”
“ Yes you are. The prince said you robbed a bank so why wouldn’t you go to jail for that crime.”
“ What?” Rapunzel said confused?
“You robbed a bank.” Said the police officer also confused.
“No I didn’t!”
“What do you mean you didn’t?”
“I swear on my life, I didn’t rob a bank.”
“Prince charming can you explain what Rapunzel really did.”
“Fine, fine all she did was make this wolf here eat up my mother.”
Rapunzel started whistling like she didn’t do anything.
“You mean she didn’t rob a bank, or shot your mum with a gun, all she did was make the wolf, eat your mum.” “Yea. So now are you going to put the wolf in jail instead of me?” Said Rapunzel happy that she might not go to jail and the wolf will instead. “No of course not. We can’t send a live animal to jail. I’m sorry but you have to take the wolves place in jail, you’ll go for a day.”
“And as for you prince charming you’ll go tomorrow so you’re not in there with Rapunzel.” “But I want to go today so I can be in there with my beloved Rapunzel.”
“ Put a sock in it hot tights,” She said looking at his new green (which is Rapunzel’s favourite colour) tights.
“No, we said tomorrow.”
“ Fine but if you put me in with Rapunzel I am a billion air. I was going to flush a million princes (which is the money,) down the toilet, but I think I could give it to you for a small favour, because you are my favourite police cop in all.” “Fine, ok” said the cop dribbling. After the prince and Rapunzel were in jail he walk a little bit and screamed “ THANK YOU GOD!!! I never believed in you before but now I know, MIRICSLS CAN HAPPEN.”
Now, back to the story.

After that one day the police let the prince out of jail on there time schedule. On the other hand, Rapunzel was asleep and she woke up from the noise of the keys. She whispered, “ Where are you going.” “Doesn’t matter, just don’t follow me.” Said the prince a bit afraid that Rapunzel will follow him. Like usual, Rapunzel did go after him. The officers caught Rapunzel, not the prince. So because Rapunzel got caught and the officers thought Rapunzel was trying to brake out they made her stay in for one more day.

She saw the prince and said, “Why are you back here. I thought you would go home, or did you get caught like me?” “Did you get caught?” “Yea.” “But I told you… You came after me didn’t you?” “ Yes. And I’m really sorry.” Prince charming can you get me out of here, Please.” She begged. “ Ok, but you have to be silent.” “ Ok.” Slowly the prince opened the doors and saw the officers coming so he ran and again Rapunzel got caught and now has two more days in jail. “ No!” Rapunzel cried. The next day Rapunzel kept saying to her self, “one more day to go only one more day to go.” Then she saw the prince AGAIN and said. “No way, not this time, I’m not falling for your silly tricks again. Because of you I had to have two more days in this horrible place, so don’t try to get me out, I’m fed up.” “ Fine then. I won’t get you out.” “Good, I would rather stay in here for the last day, then get caught again and face another day of misery.” “ Ok good day.” “Yes, good day.” And the prince was just about to walk out the door when Rapunzel called out, “Call me darling!” “ Sure.” Said the prince sarcastically.


The next day a miracle happened in the night. The next morning Rapunzel screamed, not because that she was being let out of prison today, and not that the prince called her on her phone…
But that her hair was as long as it was before the witch cut it off, she was so happy.
That day the police officers came to let her out, they said, “ There you go Rapunzel your times up, your free to go.” “ But I don’t want to go, not without my once a poon a time phone call from the prince.” “ Why don’t you just call him on the phone over there?” Said the police officer pointing at the phone. “ Then Rapunzel ran as fast as she could to hear the voice of her darling prince charming. She was so happy and never left the phone.

And that was he end of the story.
It was so sad wasn’t it?
Oh sorry I forgot to introduce myself I’m the wolf and I was one who was telling that

Clouds
Looking up into the blue sky with a white soft buffed up afro floating across on its back,
